Winter Family Photos with Sydney McCall Photography

These photos were so different than anything we have ever done. Usually we have our photos done in the Summer, when it’s warm and sunny and green. But this time I wanted to try a formal shoot in the snow with my little men, and to say they turned out wonderfully is an understatement. Sydney McCall Photography was so amazing under the pressure of two little kids who could barely hold themselves together in the 12-degree snowy mountain cold. She was amazing with the bright light we shot in, and posed us so quickly and efficiently and was able to capture some great ones of us smiling, and also lots of fun candids. She was seriously such a trooper, and I am so glad it all came together like it did.

Pregnancy #1 vs. Pregnancy #2

Guys, this is insane. I will be 39 weeks on Sunday! That’s like (counts on fingers) 3 days away!!!! Holy!!! It’s scary, exciting, exhilarating, relieving, terrifying, emotional and crazy all at the same time. I know I say this in every blog post/Insta post, but the time has FLOWN in this pregnancy. Just flown. He could be here any day now…that’s an extremely sobering thought. And my opinion about that changes almost hourly. One hour I’ll be all nostalgic and all like, “Oh man, just stay in there a bit longer.
