Leather and a Sweater

Hey! So I am sitting here with a Diet Coke (dirty of course) and a roll of Tollhouse cookie dough with a spoon inside of it, having just put both kiddos to bed. This feels like heaven. I am in the midst of sleep-training my baby, and my husband is out of town on business, and obviously if he were here relaxing with him would be the usual and most wonderful. But, when he is gone, this is the next best thing. Just me, the TV, my jammies, my computer and drink and a treat; relaxation at its finest for this mama. There is almost nothing better than knowing I have the next few hours all to myself to do nothing but blog and watch The Bachelor (can we all just agree that Corinne is a just a *tad* on the desperate side and needs to flee the premises??). But anyways, lately I have really been trying to pair different things in my closet with other items in my closet I would never think to pair it with…haha did you follow that? Basically I am putting items that I didn’t think would go...

Jewelry Love with Color by Amber

Hey guys! I am super excited about today’s blog post. It’s been in the works for a while and I am happy I finally get to post about it. I am a jewelry fanatic! I love expressing myself through the accessories that I put with my outfits, and so when Color by Amber  wanted to collaborate, I was super excited. I know how hard it can be to have your own business (I used to have my own photo business for a couple years a while back) and I love supporting small businesses, especially if they are local. Another awesome thing that Color by Amber does and prides themselves in, is that they make ecofrie...

Oh my goodness, I can’t tell you how good it feels to be back to writing after a 3 week hiatus! It’s been crazy town around here, and I am super excited to share my experience using Hello Fresh . As you know, I’m a mom of two littles, and trying to shop and cook dinner every single night can be a struggle, especially if my hubby is running late from work or has to be there to study for his CPA exams. I always have good intentions at the beginning of each week to use all the produce I just purchased, and to make healthy meals, but that doesn’t happen, if I am being honest, like hardly ever. I always have something going to waste, because I either bought too much of something, or I forgot an ingredient to make the meal I am wanting to make, and I’m way too lazy to go back dragging two children with me (one of whom is in a very heavy carseat) back to the store. This is where my love for Hello Fresh comes in! You get the exact ingredients for dinners that YOU ...
