Matchy Matchy

Hello there! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Mine was wonderful, we had a date, we snuggled, we played. It was great, and as always, much too short.

So, as you probably already know since it’s December, it’s getting extremely cold here in Utah, and it just keeps getting colder and colder. I am not loving it. I am actually a Summer girl at heart.  Each time Winter comes around, I am constantly complaining to Brett that we need to move. You could put me in the middle of the Equator where it was 120 degrees year-round and I would love it.

But, I must admit, I would miss one thing about Winter, and that’s the clothes. I love all the clothes that come with cold weather…scarves, boots, jackets/coats, sweaters, cardigans and hats. Give me all of it!

I’m a little obsessed with beanies, especially these ones that have the little puff ball on top! So you can imagine how excited and thrilled I was when I found these matching Mom & Me beanies. I was doing some Christmas shopping on Amazon last week, and these came up in the baby section. I was dying! They come in 6 different colors, and they are SO soft and great quality. I’m super impressed.

And can I just add that I know I’m a huge nerd for wanting to match my baby?. I don’t have a girl, and one of the reasons I want a girl is to dress her up and match her sometimes. But, finding these hats, kinda made my little dream of matching my little one come true, and that made me so happy 🙂 And I didn’t need another child to do it, so that was nice, cause this kiddo and my other little man just have my heart, and I wouldn’t want anyone else.

So yes, it’s possible for a mom to match her baby boy, and I love that. Don’t be surprised if you see more matching from me and my little men.

Pregnancy #1 vs. Pregnancy #2

Guys, this is insane. I will be 39 weeks on Sunday! That’s like (counts on fingers) 3 days away!!!! Holy!!! It’s scary, exciting, exhilarating, relieving, terrifying, emotional and crazy all at the same time. I know I say this in every blog post/Insta post, but the time has FLOWN in this pregnancy. Just flown. He could be here any day now…that’s an extremely sobering thought. And my opinion about that changes almost hourly.
