Family Photo's Fall 2016

Well that’s embarrassing. I’ve been silent for an entire week! Apologies. Last week was nuts, and I was in a little rut. But, I’m back. And I have a goodie post for you…well, at least I think it’s a goodie! It features the most important people in my life: my boys!

On Saturday we got our family pictures taken. My friend, who is an extremely talented photographer over at Chelsea Mcintyre Photography, took them, and we could NOT be happier about them. She is the amazing woman who is behind Levi’s newborn photos we had taken in the hospital, you can view those here. We love and cherish those pictures so much, that when she offered to do our family pictures, there was no way I was going to refuse. And remember how I said she took them Saturday? She got them all back to me YESTERDAY MORNING! She’s amazing you guys!

Everything for this shoot set up perfectly. My dress (<–exact dress, similar at bottom of post) came a few days faster than it was supposed to, we found Brett the perfect sport coat that happened to be 60% off, and the boys outfits were both easy to find and Levi’s was even on clearance.

The day of the shoot honestly could not have gone any better (not the usual). I always stress about this. I always worry that the baby won’t take his naps, or that I won’t finish my hair and makeup in time (I’m way too cheap to pay someone to do it), that the weather won’t be good, that we will be late for the shoot, or that the kids won’t cooperate. I was so relieved that the opposite of all of my fears played out. The only thing that worried me a tiny bit was that there wouldn’t be the warm sun glow both me and Chelsea were wanting because it got super cloudy about an hour before our shoot was set to begin, but the stars aligned when we got there and the sun was peaking through the clouds and, as you can see, it made these photos perfection.

Like I said, complete overload. I cannot thank Chelsea enough! I was telling Brett once we got them back that I think these are my favorite photos we have ever had taken of us. Not only is the location and light amazing, they capture our boys so well, and you know I love some good candid moments along with the posed photos. I just cannot wait to get these printed and hung!

Oh and this is totally random, but wanted to let you all know I filmed my brow tutorial Sunday evening!! Hooray! Now I just need to edit it…so I am hoping that will go up sometime in the next week, if not sooner.
