Dress Love

I have always loved dressing up. It’s something that I have never hated or dreaded like some people do. I used to be all about skirts and cute tops, but since the maxi dress craze started a few years ago I have been all over the trend…it’s honestly almost all I ever wear when I need to get dressed up because they are SO comfortable and flowy and I feel like they make me look taller than I am (hello all the way from down here at 5’3″).

But, once I had Levi 4 months ago, it was super tough wearing actual dresses because I am a nursing momma and absolutely love it. I had one dress that would work, but I wore that during pregnancy and it got super stretched out (so sad), so I was back to wearing skirts…which aren’t terrible or anything, but I sure missed the comfort and coverage of my maxi dresses. So I went on the hunt to find nursing-friendly dresses and was able to find one that was the right price, but wanted more than one. I found a few more but didn’t love the patterns or the weird ways they allowed you to nurse (through a secret hole on the side? Yeah, nursing is complicated enough, I’m not going to bring holes and secret buttons into it) or they were way out of my price range. I wanted something basic, cute, my style and affordable.

Posey and Pence has a lot of the same stuff that the other online shops do, except the prices are prices that I can afford and I don’t feel like I’m spending an arm-and-a-leg on a shirt or a dress.
